Welcome to the Official Wetwang Scarecrow Festival Website  From Sunday 30th May to Saturday 5th June 2010 the well-known Wolds village of Wetwang once again welcomed thousands of visitors from across Yorkshire and for its eighth annual Scarecrow Week. The 2010 Festival raised more than £5,000 of much-needed funds for community events at the community's Village Hall as well as securing the ongoing upkeep of the Hall for another year - thanks to the many scarecrow makers, volunteers and visitors who supported this year's efforts! Believe it or not, the Village Hall Committee and friends will soon start preparing for the 2011 festival. More news on this will follow towards the end of 2010.
